Casa Grande Senior Apartments is one of four winners in the 2011 MetLife Foundation Awards for Excellence in Affordable Housing. The field of competition was extremely tough and the Foundation felt that our property stood out for both its green elements and service-enriched housing for seniors. The review committee noted Casa Grande's green features, universal design, and services for seniors. Our property joins the ranks of 16 years of winners in this competition. As a winner of this prestigious award, PEP Housing will receive a $50,000 unrestricted grant to support our work in housing and services for seniors. In addition, the Foundation will support a local event in Petaluma to celebrate our award and promote the property and PEP Housing will receive recognition at the LeadingAge Annual Conference from October 16-19 in Washington, DC.
