2014 WAS A BUSY YEAR!
As we review the year, we are proud of our many achievements:
We opened two new properties (Kellgren Senior Apartments in Petaluma and Orange Tree Senior Senior Apartments in Oroville) providing affordable homes and supportive services to over 100 more low-income seniors.
We started planning new affordable senior communities in Petaluma, Ukiah, and Marin.
Our Executive Director, Mary Stompe, received a national award as an “Outstanding Advocate” for affordable senior housing.
We were chosen as a “Best Place to Work” by the North Bay Business Journal.
Our annual fundraiser this year with the theme, “There’s No Place Like Home” was a huge success!
We continued to provide our residents with access to Professional Service Coordinators who ensure they have the supportive services they need to age in place with comfort, safety and dignity.
We encouraged healthy aging by providing state-of-the-art exercise equipment, internet access to medical information, and coordinating surplus food programs to make sure our residents were benefiting from nutritious meals.
We continued to provide financial assistance to residents with emergency needs and to provide popular movement classes that help prevent falls by building core strength and improving balance.
