PEP Housing had a great time building Acacia out of gingerbread for the Hotel Petaluma Third Annual Gingerbread Competition. In the Sonoma Strong category, we chose to build Acacia after it survived the tragic Sonoma County fires. Our resilient residents faced multiple evacuation threats and one large scale evacuation, but with the help of our incredible staff everyone made it out safe.
We walked in our entry with our heads high beaming with pride. After three days of baking and endless candy bowls we were excited to submit the final product. Our wonderful replica took home a Staff Pick award as well as held a favorite in the Sonoma Strong category!
