Dan Linberg, Property Manager says:

The Vallejo Street Senior Apartment community is a hub of many diverse activities throughout the day and early evening hours. Several days a week resident volunteers from VSSA as well as neighboring properties meet, and amid much banter and laughter, sort foodstuffs collected by the Petaluma Bounty Hunters to share throughout the PEP community.

Residents interested in stretching their limbs have numerous exercise options; from week day “Chair Exercise” classes, to instructor led “Stress Free” exercise classes held each Monday and “Free Movement” classes held each Thursday.

The Vallejo Street Residents Association hosts a “Soup Night” and “Dessert Night”” during the month along with a “Bingo Night” Friday evenings. On Saturday evenings residents can be found playing “Penny Poker”, while other evenings different versions of dominoes are played.

As the weather warms the VSRA also hosts annual Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day barbeques providing hamburgers and hot dogs, while residents bring their favorite side dishes to share with one another.

The VSSA community is one that shares in one another’s company in a myriad of ways throughout the day. It is truly a community where neighbors can often be found helping neighbors, from offering rides to medical appointments, to sharing rides to the local market and religious services.
