PEP Housing has a total of 671units, fully handicapped accessible with grab bars in the bathrooms and emergency pull stations in each apartment, located in the bedroom and bathroom.
Rent for HUD units is based on 30% of adjusted gross income. All other units have a set rent of $550 per month.
The Head of Household must be 62 or older for all current properties in Petaluma, Ukiah and Oroville. Our development in Kentfield, Linda Tunis Senior Apartments, Pony Express, and River City accepts seniors 55 and older and applicants must apply through the Marin Housing Authority .
Yes, as long as the apartment is your principal place of residency and if you qualify below maximum income levels. You are required to live in your PEP Housing apartment at least 10 months out of the year.

Yes, Section 8 housing vouchers are accepted and encouraged at non-HUD properties.
We do background and credit checks on each applicant.
Yes, only one pet under 35 pounds is allowed (Assistance/Guide Animals are exempt).
Smoking is prohibited anywhere inside each unit, on the deck, or in the building, including indoor and outdoor common areas except for the designated area, should there be one, on the property. Properties built since 2009 are smoke-free campuses.
Approximate size of each unit is 620 square feet.
Rent includes water and garbage. Tenant pays for gas and electric.
There is central heat, but no air conditioning (except Orange Tree Senior Apartments and Sun House Senior Apartments). However, most units have ceiling fans.
Heating is gas, stove/ovens are electric.
Most apartments have roll-in shower stalls with a fold-down seat.
